Let us learn a various sort of poker other than hold’em, seven card stud, five card draw and Omaha Holdem. Yes, double-hand poker. Now you have to be wondering that pai gow sounds a bit Chinese; yes you’re appropriate this casino game is really a blend of the Chinese game double-hand and our very own American poker. Surely this is not 1 of the most well-known types of poker but still it’s widely wagered. It could be played by up to 7 gamblers.

It’s played with one deck of fifty-two cards, including a joker. Interestingly, the joker can be employed only as an ace, to complete a straight, a flush, a straight flush, or a royal flush. The important element here to bear in mind is apart from the usual rating of hands we have one more winning hand that is "5 Aces" (five aces which includes the joker). Surprisingly, 5 aces beat all other hands which includes royal flush.

Each and every player is dealt seven cards. The cards are arranged to form two hands; a 2 card hand and a 5 card hand. The 5 card hand has to rank greater or be equal to the two card hand. Lastly each of your hands have to rank higher than each of your competitors hands (each 5 and 2 card hands). Further the 2 card hand can merely have two combinations; one pair and high card.

Following the cards are arranged in to two hands, they’re placed on the table face down. As soon as you lay them down, you can no longer handle them. The croupier will flip over their cards and make his hands. Every players hand is in comparison to the dealer’s hands. If the gambler wins 1 hand and loses the other, this is known as "push" and no money is won or lost. If dealer wins equally hands then he/she captures the players wager and the other way round. Now what if there is a tie, the only advantage with the croupier here is he/she wins all ties.

Immediately after the hand is bet, the next person clock-wise becomes the croupier and the next hand is played. The major downside to this casino game is that there is no skill required and you depend too much on good fortune. Also the odds are poor compared to wagering with a pot.
