Ah, the poker tilt. If a poker enthusiast claims at no time to have peered over the barrel of an upcoming poker steam – they’re either lying or they have not been gambling long enough. It is an inevitable outcome of competing in Texas Holdem, or really any type of poker.
Since we are assumingly (nearly all of us) in the game for one purpose – to acquire a profit, it certainly makes sense that we will gamble accordingly to maximize profits. Now let us say you are up one hundred dollars off of a 100 dollars deposit, and you suffer a big hit in a NL game and your stack is only has remaining $120. You have lost $80 in a round where you were certain to pick up $200two hundred dollars when you decided to go all-in on the flop and enjoyed a ten to one edge. And that guy! He sucked you out on the river? – Well hold it right here. This is a quintessential opportunity for a brand-new gambler to start tilting. They really just lost too much money on one round that they really should have won and they are agitated
