Pai Gow Poker is a modern game with ancient origins. Built on the old Chinese domino game and the current American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the far east with the western in a wonderful game for beginning level gamblers.
Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the player versus the croupier, not like nearly all other poker games that players play with other gamblers. By competing against the dealer, new players don’t have to fret about any other, more skillful gamblers winning their cash.
A further Pai Gow edge is the generally leisurely game play, newcomers are able to take their time and scheme while not needing to make quick decisions.
It is also simpler to wager on for an extended time with only a tiny bit of money seeing as, to not win, each of your hands needs to be lower than both of the houses hands.
Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the familiar 52-card standard deck and one joker. The gambler is dealt seven cards faces showing and the dealer receives 7 cards face down.
One five card hand and one 2 card hand need to be put together from the seven cards dealt, the five card hand must be higher than the two card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand values to be higher than the dealer’s.
