Pai Gow Poker is a current game with old origins. Founded on the ancient Chinese domino game and the current American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker marries the east with the wild west in a great game for beginning level gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler against the house, unlike almost all other poker games that gamblers wager with other players. By betting against the dealer, starting players don’t have to fret about other, more skillful people taking their $$$$.

A further Pai Gow benefit is the generally leisurely game play, beginners are able to take their time and strategize without needing to make frenzied choices.

It’s also easier to bet on for a very long time with basically a little amount of cash after all, to lose, each of your hands must be under each of the casino’s hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the customary 52-card standard deck and a single joker. The gambler is given seven cards face up and the casino is dealt 7 cards faces hidden.

One five card hand and one 2 card hand have to be put together from the 7 cards dealt, the five card hand has to be better than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player needs both of his hand totals to be higher than the houses.
