Pai Gow Poker is a current game with old origins. Founded on the old Chinese tile game and the current American version of poker, Pai Gow poker bands together the far east with the wild west in an awesome game for new players.
Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler versus the croupier, not like nearly all other poker games that players compete with other players. By playing against the dealer, beginner players don’t have to worry about any other, more experienced people taking their cash.
Another Pai Gow edge is the generally slow game play, novices should be able to take their time and strategize without needing to make quick selections.
It’s also simpler to play for a long time with basically a tiny amount of money seeing as, to not win, both of your hands must be under both of the dealer’s hands.
Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the regular 52-card standard deck and a single joker. The gambler is assigned seven cards faces showing and the house receives 7 cards face down.
A 5 card hand and a two card hand need to be made from the seven cards dealt, the 5 card hand has to be higher than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player needs both of his hand totals to be higher than the dealer’s.
