Omaha Hi-Lo (also known as Omaha 8 or better) is commonly viewed as one of the most complicated but favored poker variations. Omaha Hi-Lo starts exactly like a normal game of Omaha. 4 cards are handed out to every player. A round of betting follows where gamblers can wager, check, or fold. Three cards are dealt out, this is referred to as the flop. Another sequence of wagering happens. After all the players have either called or folded, a further card is revealed on the turn. Another round of wagering follows at which point the river card is revealed. The gamblers will have to make the best high and low five card hands using the board and hole cards.

This is where a few entrants often get flustered.
