Pai Gow Poker is a current game with old origins. Founded on the ancient Chinese domino game and the current American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the east with the wild west in a fantastic game for starting gamblers.
Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the gambler versus the dealer, unlike most other poker games that players wager against other players. By wagering against the dealer, beginning players don’t need to worry about any other, more skillful players winning their $$$$.
A further Pai Gow benefit is the fairly slow game play, rookies are able to take their time and scheme without having to make quick selections.
It is also simpler to wager on for a very long time with basically a tiny amount of money since, to lose, both of your hands must be under both of the dealer’s hands.
Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the normal 52-card basic deck and a single joker. The player is assigned seven cards face up and the house is given 7 cards face down.
A five card hand and one 2 card hand need to be made from the seven cards dealt, the 5 card hand has to be better than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be higher than the dealer’s.
